Presented and Produced by Tech Personality JayzTwoCents, Leading System Integrator iBUYPOWER and Beloved PC Component Brand HYTE
Southern California tech enthusiasts, get ready—something exciting is coming. Jason Langevin, better known to his millions of followers as JayzTwoCents, is launching a brand-new initiative called SoCalTech, a community-focused brand built to connect tech fans, creators, and businesses from across the region.
After more than a decade of creating content and connecting with tech lovers around the world, Jason is turning his focus toward giving back to his local community. “One thing I’ve learned over the last twelve years is that SoCal’s tech enthusiasts are some of the most passionate out there,” he says. “With SoCalTech, I want to help grow that passion into something bigger—something that brings people together in person.”
The First-Ever SoCalTech Fair – May 3-4
To kick things off, SoCalTech is hosting its inaugural event, the SoCalTech Fair, happening May 3–4 at iBUYPOWER’s headquarters in Southern California. Think of it as a cross between a tech expo and a classic county fair—packed with hands-on experiences, games, influencer meet-and-greets, and shopping all weekend long.
The event is being co-produced by JayzTwoCents, iBUYPOWER, and HYTE, two of the biggest names in custom PC gaming systems and components.
Here’s what you can expect at SoCalTech Fair:
Free-to-play Gaming Stations – Jump into the latest PC games or test your skills on sim-racing rigs.
Live Panels & Presentations – Featuring JayzTwoCents, Austin Evans, BitWit, and more.
Tech Challenges & Competitions – including a “Speed PC Building” and a “Tower of Power” motherboard stacking event.
Exclusive Sales – Score discounted PC components, peripherals, and gear from iBUYPOWER and HYTE.
Event-Only Merch – Limited edition swag and accessories available only at the fair.
A Celebration of SoCal’s Tech Spirit
As a SoCal-based company, iBUYPOWER knows how strong and passionate the local tech scene is. “When Jay approached us with the idea for SoCalTech Fair, we were all in,” says Jeffrey Cheng, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at iBUYPOWER. “This is about giving back to the same community that helped shape us 25 years ago.”
So whether you’re a lifelong PC builder, an aspiring content creator, or just someone who loves cool tech—this is the event to check out.
